The roots of our business date back to 1975 when the Madsen Corporation built the first Section 8 housing development in the United States.  These apartment buildings scattered throughout ten rural Wisconsin communities became the foundation for expansion into the multi-family housing business.  In 1988 Meridian purchased the property management business segment from Madsen Corporation.  Throughout our existence Madsen Corporation and Meridian have earned a solid reputation for work in developing and managing affordable housing and market rate housing communities.

Our philosophy continues to build upon principles that began over 40 years ago -- providing quality housing communities while enhancing value for the owner.  We have consistently hired employees who are energetic, competent, creative, and people of character.  We believe the reputation we have earned is a direct result of the hard work and dedication put forth by our employees.  Meridian is a closely held corporation headquartered in Middleton, WI. business.
